The history behind Champion dates back to 1919. This is when the Feinbloom brothers founded a family company, which manufactured fabrics and clothes. All the articles they made were of outstanding quality. What made them stand out was the extraordinary attention to detail. A brand that won the hearts of men and women
In the 1930s the company name was changed to Champion Knitting Mills Inc. Since the brand was becoming increasingly popular, a special line of working clothes was introduced, designed for low temperatures. Soon afterwards Champion commenced a collaboration with the U.S. Military Academy, when the institution decided to provide its students with training apparel by this brand.
The Champion logo also underwent numerous changes over the years. The characteristic “C”, which we know nowadays, appeared only in the 1950s.
