Ellesse is an Italian brand whose story starts in 1959, when the company was founded by Leonardo Servadio. On his way to success, the young designer was helped by a number of sports professionals – his clothes were acclaimed at tennis courts, during Ferrari races or New York marathons. No wonder that Servadio included a fragment of a tennis ball in his company logo. With time, products by Ellesse won the hearts of rappers and actors – the company logo was proudly sported by Jazzy Jeff, Evert, Vilas or Will Smith. In the 1970s and 1980s apparel by Ellesse proved to be a genuine discovery in the world of fashion, sport, music or even in elite circles.
